Sarhan M. Musa received his B. Sc. degree in 1996 from the City College of New York, NY, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from City University of New York, NY, in 1997 and 2001 respectively. He is presently an associate professor at Prairie View A&M University. He is director of Prairie View Networking Academy (PVNA) since 2004.
His current research interests are in the areas of computational nanotechnology, numerical modeling of electromagnetic systems, and computer communication networks. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of Journal of Modern Applied Science. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Researchers at University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) have developed a supercapacitor or electrochemical capacitor (EC) composed of an expanded network of graphene — a one-atom-thick layer of graphitic carbon. The team demonstrated excellent mechanical and electrical properties as well as exceptionally high surface area.
