Kyoto University’s (Japan) Hirao Kazuyuki, credited with the invention of nanoglass for lasers will deliver a paper at NanoThailand 2008, the first bi-annual NanoThailand Symposium (NTS), November 6-8, 2008 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 1st biannual NanoThailand Symposium (NTS) will be held during November 6-8, 2008 in Bangkok, Thailand. NTS is conceived as a series of premier international conference and exhibitions on Nanotechnology to bring together world-leading researchers and exhibitors, in several focused areas of science and technology at nanoscale.

The event is aimed as a platform to disseminate their latest research results, allow cross-disciplinary exchange of knowledge to further advance both technological areas and showcase their latest inventions and innovations. It is foreseeable that Nanotechnology will significantly impact various large industries and SMEs across the globe.

The scientific programs at NTS 2008 contain 6 themes: Energy, Textiles, Drug Delivery, Devices, Safety and Regulation, and Nanoscale Simulations for Industrial Applications. With two plenary lectures presented each day.
