Dr. Adewuyi is a professor of chemical engineering at the North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, North Carolina. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in chemical, biochemical and environmental engineering in the Department of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering. He was the Teacher of the Year in Chemical Engineering in 1994 and 1997; and the past (1999-2001) and current chemical engineering graduate program coordinator. Dr. Adewuyi holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University, and M.S. and Ph.D in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University of Iowa. Prior to joining the Chemical Engineering Department at NC A&T State University in 1994, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at Boston College (1985-86) and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (1987-88). He also worked for Mobil Research and Development Corporation (Paulsboro, New Jersey) as a senior staff engineer (1988-1991) and research engineer (1991-1993) for five years in the Fluid Catalytic and Environmental Remediation groups. He is listed in Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, the Dictionary of International Biography and others. He is a member of AICHE, ACS, ASEE and AAAS.
