Tissue engineering on modified surfaces such as - SAMs on conducting and semiconducting surfaces, micro-/nano-porous Si and that modified with TiN; proteins on metallic/semiconductor surfaces; biocatalysis, degradation of pollutants; microreactors for catalysis; self-assembly based approaches for electronic devices, nano-scale charge-transfer in metal-molecule interfaces; nanobiotechnology
