Research:
The Centre for Molecular Simulation (CMS) was established at Swinburne University of Technology in 1999 to provide a focus for research in molecular simulation. The goal of the centre is to develop and use molecular simulation to provide fundamental insights into natural phenomena at the atomic level. Monte Carlo (MC), equilibrium molecular dynamics (MD) and non-equilibrium molecular dynamics (NEMD) techniques are used to explore a wide range of phenomena such a phase equilibria, transport phenomena and nanotechnology.
