Polymer Reviews
Polymer Reviews publishes topical issues, consisting of invited high quality reviews on topics of current interest in all areas of macromolecular science and engineering. Areas of particular interest are biomedical applications, organic electronics and photonics, nanostructures, micro- and nano-fabrication, biological molecules (DNA, proteins, carbohydrates), polymers for renewable energy and the environment, and polymers at the interfaces with other disciplines. Articles may either provide a complete, broad review of a topic, or may concentrate on the author's own work, placing that work in the context of the broader field.
Soft Materials
Unlike many journals which focus primarily on individual classes of materials or particular applications, Soft Materials draw on all physical, chemical, materials science, and biological aspects of soft matter. Featured topics include polymers, biomacromolecules, colloids, membranes, Langmuir-Blodgett films, liquid crystals, granular matter, soft interfaces, complex fluids, surfactants, gels, nanomaterials, self-organization, supramolecular science, molecular recognition, soft glasses, amphiphiles, and foams.
Truly international in scope, Soft Materials contains original research, invited reviews, in-depth technical tutorials, and book reviews.
IoP Journal
The Nanotechnology journal is published fortnightly and is going to become a weekly publication from 2007. Starting in 2007 the journal Nanotechnology will be launching subject sections offering its readers high-quality original research papers in:
- - biology and medicine;
- - electronics and photonics;
- - patterning and nanofabrication;
- - quantum phenomena;
- - sensing and actuating;
- - materials: synthesis or self-assembly;
- - materials: properties, characterization, modelling or tools where structure, properties or observation on the nanometer scale are critical.
The Nanotechnology journal offers its authors some of the fastest publication times around (average receipt-to-publication time is less than 3 months); worldwide visibility (all papers are free to read for 30 days from publication) and high impact.
Fullerenes, Nanotubes, and Carbon Nanostructures
Publishing peer-reviewed, original papers, Fullerenes, Nanotubes, and Carbon Nanostructures provides discussion on theoretical, experimental, and applicatory aspects of the chemistry and physics of fullerenes, nanotubes, and carbon nanostructures. Offering full-length articles, review papers of advanced research, short communications, conference proceedings, and book reviews, this journal provides an international and interdisciplinary forum in fundamental and applied fullerene science issues.
Nanotoxicology
Nanotoxicology invites contributions addressing research relating to the potential for human and environmental exposure, hazard and risk associated with the use and development of nano-structured materials. In this context, the term nano-structured materials has a broad definition, including 'materials with at least one dimension in the nanometer size range'. These nanomaterials range from nanoparticles and nanomedicines, to nano-surfaces of larger materials and composite materials.
Molecular Simulation
An international, multidisciplinary, academic journal, Molecular Simulation covers all aspects of research related to, or of importance to, molecular modelling and simulation (including informatics, theoretical and experimental work), with a special focus on the use simulation methodologies from biology and biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials and nanomaterials, medicine, physics and information science.

Synthesis and Reactivity in Inorganic, Metal-Organic, and Nano-Metal Chemistry
The primary emphasis of Synthesis and Reactivity in Inorganic, Metal-Organic, and Nano-Metal Chemistry is syntheses and reactivity of new compounds, new methods for preparation of known compounds, and new experimental techniques and procedures. The jorunal features original research contributions, preliminary communications with full experimental details as well as brief reviews of general reactions or techniques. From time to time, this journal will also publish review articles and thematic issues encompassing the areas of Inorganic, Metal-Organic, and Nano-Metal Chemistry.
Journal of Experimental Nanoscience
The Journal of Experimental Nanoscience exists to bring together the most significant papers making original contributions to nanoscience in a range of fields including biology and biochemistry, physics, chemistry, chemical electrical and mechanical engineering, materials, pharmaceuticals and medicine.
International, multidisciplinary, the Journal of Experimental Nanoscience showcases advances in the experimental sciences underlying nanotechnology and nanomaterials.The aim is to provide a forum in which cross fertilization between application areas, methodologies, disciplines, as well as academic and industrial researchers can take place and new developments can be encouraged.
