Description Researchers at MIT have applied nanotechnology to the science of cleaning up oil spills. The system, dubbed Seaswarm, is a fleet of prototyped robotic skimming vehicles that use nanotechnology to autonomously navigate the ocean surface to collect surface oil and process it on site.
