Carbon-based transistors ramp up speed and memory for mobile devices
Description (American Friends of Tel Aviv University) Elad Mentovich of Tel Aviv University's Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology says that, by using carbon molecules called C60 to build a sophisticated new memory transistor, he has found a way to increase both speed and memory on the devices -- and his solution is ready to be produced at existing high-tech fabrication facilities.
