This project is designed to examine multi-walled CNTs, reinforced with PMMA/HAp nanocomposite, to serve as a novel bone cement material, along with other biomedical purposes. This session reviews improvements to Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) -- used now in and paints and plexiglass, can enhance CNTs for nanobio use. CNT improvement via hydroxyapatite (HAp) is also investigated.
