The Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies (PEN) has released a report to help nano-researchers be more ‘green.” PEN’s Green Nanotechnology: It’s Easier Than You Think includes the views of leading research, industry and policy thinkers on how nanoscience could help eliminate waste and toxins from many production and manufacturing processes. Further, it looks at how nanotechnology can create more efficient solar panels, and remove contaminants from water. This “green nanotechnology” report also looks at how the nano-community can help design more environmental-friendly nano products.
